The 6th meeting of the OPPS Forum was held on July 21 for the purpose of mutual exchange and information sharing among members. Continuing from last time, the event was held online, with a total of 18 regular members from 9 companies and 2 observers from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. In addition, Mr. Shiro Muto and Mr. Kazuhide Oya, lawyers from the local office of Nishimura & Asahi, joined us as lecturers from Vietnam.

In addition to introducing new projects, we received the latest information on the Vietnam PPP bill (2020) from Vietnam. In addition, the secretariat introduced trends in overseas infrastructure PPPs in Japan, trends in overseas economies during the corona crisis, and PPP-related information in each area overseas. Although it is difficult to travel to other countries due to the corona crisis, it was a meaningful time to deepen my studies and keep an eye out for new projects.

　会員相互の交流と情報共有を目的としたOPPSフォーラムの第6回会合を7月21日に開催しました。前回に引き続き、オンラインでの開催となりましたが、正会員9社計18名、オブザーバー国土交通省から2名、また国を越えてベトナムから西村あさひ法律事務所現地事務所の武藤司郎弁護士、大矢和秀弁護士に講師としてご参加いただきました。

　新規案件のご紹介に加え、ベトナム現地からはベトナムPPP法案（2020年）について最新情報をいただきました。そのほか、事務局からわが国の海外インフラPPPの動向、コロナ禍における海外経済の動向海外各エリアのPPP関連情報などをご紹介しました。コロナ禍で諸外国への渡航ができない厳しい現状ではありますが、この時期であっても勉強を深め、新案件にアンテナを張っていくための、有意義な時間となりました。

On May 19, the 2020 General Meeting was held remotely via Zoom. There were three proposals: (1) business report and income and expenditure report for fiscal 2019, (2) business plan and income and expenditure budget for fiscal 2020, and (3) election of officers, all of which were approved without incident.

A total of 31 people participated, including full members, associate members, and observers. We received words of encouragement from Mr. Miyasaka, Manager of the Overseas Project Promotion Division, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

OPPS will continue to actively discover overseas PPP projects this fiscal year, and deepen information sharing and exchanges among members.
