2023 Annual General Meeting was held
The General Incorporated Association PPP Promotion and Support Organization (OPPS) held its 2023 Annual General Meeting on June 9th at TCC Kamiyacho. All 11 corporate members, including proxies, participated. Proposal No. 1: FY2022 Business Report/Income and Expenditure Report, Proposal No. 2: Business Plan/Income and Expenditure Plan for FY2023 were approved by majority vote. In addition, the secretariat reported on the details of activities for 2023. Prior to the closing of the meeting, Mr. Moritani, Director of the Overseas Project Promotion Division, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism gave a congratulatory address.

一般社団法人PPP推進支援機構（OPPS）は6月9日、TCC神谷町にて2023年度通常総会を開催しました。委任状を含め11社すべての法人会員が参加しました。第1号議案：2022年度事業報告・収支報告、第2号議案：2023年度事業計画・収支計画が賛成多数で可決されました。また、事務局からは2023年度活動詳細の報告がありました。閉会に先立ち、国土交通省海外プロジェクト推進課の盛谷課長よりご祝辞を頂きました。

MoU signing ceremony held with Philippine PPP Center
On May 11, the Organization for PPP Promotion and Support (OPPS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Philippine PPP Center (P3CP). The document was signed by Ms. Cynthia Hernandez, Executive Director of P3CP and Koichi Uemura, Director and Vice Chairman of OPPS. Areas in which the two countries will work together include civil engineering infrastructure (mainly highways), social infrastructure (food security, health, water supply and sewerage, and digital fields), and smart city development projects. In the future, OPPS will focus on promoting infrastructure PPP projects in the Philippines.

フィリピンPPPセンターとのMoU調印式を行いました
一般社団法人PPP推進支援機構（OPPS）は5月11日、フィリピンPPPセンター（P3CP）との間で了解覚書＝MoU（Memorandum of Understanding）を締結しました。書類にはP3CPエグゼクティブディレクターのシンシア・ヘルナンデス氏とOPPS理事・副会長の植村公一が署名し、立会証人としてP3CP・OIC-ディレクターのレスター・アニョヌエボ氏及び国土交通省の方に署名頂きました。両国が協力して推進する分野として、土木インフラ（主に高速道路）、社会インフラ（食料安全保障、健康、上下水道及びデジタル分野）そしてスマートシティ開発事業が挙げられています。今後、OPPSはフィリピンにおけるインフラPPPプロジェクトの推進に力を入れてまいります。

2022 OPPS seminar was held
On March 23, 2023, the OPPS seminar “JICA’s activities in Oceania including PPP and infrastructure needs in Oceania” was held with the aim of learning the basics of PPP. A total of 24 people from member companies participated in the venue and Zoom.
We invited Ms. Akiko Takahashi from the International Organization Pacific Islands Center and Mr. Shinya Tamio, Senior Director of Pacific and Southeast Asia Division, Southeast Asia and Pacific Department, Japan International Cooperation Agency, as lecturers.
